"Perfect World" by Darius Reed
"Perfect World" is the first installment of a series of films to support women's rights. The series reveals different life experiences of women, breaking the mold of cultural restraints on gender. "Perfect World" centers around a young couple and their storybook romance. The lovers are tested, and the couple struggles to find common ground. As the story unfolds, the two find themselves at odds. The young woman takes control of her destiny while possibly losing the love of her life. "Perfect World" celebrates the human spirit, the power of love, and understanding. The remaining short films will be completed throughout 2023 and release in 2024.
